Our faculty consists of contract working professionals unless otherwise stated.
Melissa Adams is a Reiki Master and has been studying and practicing Reiki since 2014. She received her training at Reverent Reiki. She is also a yoga instructor and specializes in restorative yoga for healing and emotional recovery. She teaches yoga in several residential treatment facilities for teenage girls seeking recovery. Melissa teaches Reiki at our Cedar City campus.
Lora Lee BodenLMT, graduated from Healing Mountain, Cedar City Campus & Southern Utah University with an Associate in Small Business Management. She has been a bookkeeper and office manager in the private sector for 20 years. She teaches Accounting, Communications, Seated at our Cedar City campus.
Megan Cheffy LME, LMT, graduate of our Cedar City campus and has experience running resort spas and a private practice. Megz is currently working her Bachelors in Health Service Administration as well as her Bachelors in Complimentary and Alternative Health with Ashford University. Megz teaches Massage III at our Cedar City campus.
Laura Fager BS, LMT, graduated from Healing Mountain Massage School in 2014. Certified in Craniosacral therapy, and 2nd level Reiki. She will be teaching Craniosacral Therapy beginning in the fall at the Cedar City Campus.
Jeremy Kellum BS, LMT graduated from Healing Touch School of Massage Therapy in 2003. He got his Bachelor of Science with an emphasis in Athletic Training from the University of Southern Mississippi. He specializes in connective tissue and injury related massage. He has worked in the rehabilitation of professional and semi-professional athletes and been a massage instructor in the state of MS since 2006. He currently teaches Sports Massage I and II, Massage I, CPR, Ethics and the Law, Seated Massage, License Prep and Craniosacral in Cedar City and is the Cedar City Campus Director.
RJ Nikola JCD, BA, LMT is the school director for Healing Mountain. He graduated from UCMT, has a JCD in Education and a BA from BYU. He is author of Japanese Full-Body Shiatsu and Creatures of Water being used at massage schools in the US & Canada. Randy serves currently as a commissioner for the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools – ABHES, and as a member of the Utah State Massage Board.
Brock Orme currently attends Southern Utah University where he is majoring in human nutrition with an emphasis in allied health. He is also minoring in chemistry. Brock teaches Anatomy and Physiology at Healing Mountain’s Southern Campus in Cedar City.
Jenny Simpkins, graduated from Healing Mountain Massage School in 2014 and has been an active CNA for over 7 years. Jenny runs her private practice specializing in Shiatsu, sports, Reiki, and crystals. Shiatsu is my favorite type of massage because of the balance it has between massage and energy work. Jenny teaches Shiatsu,
Suzee Snedden LMT, BA graduated from Oregon School of Massage in 2003 and later received a Bachelors in Education from the University of Nevada Reno. Suzee has experience working in resorts, spas, as well as running her own private practice. Suzee teaches Lymph Drainage Massage, Communications, Hydrotherapy, Massage II, Accounting, Reiki, and is the Spa Manager at our Cedar City Campus.
Tiffany Taylor LMT and NCBTMB, graduated from the Nevada School of Massage Therapy in 2002 and graduated from Southern Utah University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education and Human Performance. She teaches Massage III and Lymph Drainage Massage at Healing Mountain’s Southern Campus in Cedar City Utah.
Blayne Wiley LMT, attended the University of Utah where he studied English, Education and Theatre. Blayne has specialized in several modalities including Traditional Chinese Medicine & Acupressure, Reflexology, Aromatherapy, Pathology, Craniosacral Therapy and he is a certified Touch For Health Instructor. He taught at UCMT for 7 years and has had a private practice for 15 years. In 2007, Blayne started the Professional Massage & Bodywork program at Eagle Gate College and was the Program Director for almost 7 years. He is currently the Director of Education for the school and teaches Eastern Paradigm and Pathology. Blayne also teaches Fundamentals of Holistic Health & Touch for Health in our Holistic Health Practitioner program.
Jared Wilson currently attends Southern Utah University where he has served as the Anatomy Lab Teachers Assistant and as the Intern for the College of Science and Engineering Anatomy Department at SUU. Jared teaches Anatomy and Physiology at Healing Mountains Southern Campus in Cedar City Utah.
